Day 1 | Wednesday 13/12/2017

Moderator
 
Ali Al Gofaily
He graduated from Faculty of Mass Communication, Imam Mohamed Ibn Saud University. He started his career in printed press at (Insan) Magazine then (Al-Riyadh) Newspaper.
He worked in (Al-Eqtisadiya TV) for nearly two years, where he presented (Safahat Eqtisadiya) program along with preparing and editing the economic news. He then moved to (Al-Aan TV), where he worked as a TV presenter and news anchor for a year. He recently moved to (MBC Group). Although he is the youngest TV presenter in the channel, he succeeded to be the main anchor of the daily newscast at 9 pm KSA, in addition to presenting and editing (MBC in a Week) which discusses important social and humanitarian issues in the Saudi society by hosting Arab and international social experts.

Aziza al-Qarni

She is a professional Saudi photographer holding MBA, a certified photography trainer from the Gulf Board for Human Development, and a member of several local and international photography associations. She organized and participated in many local and international photography exhibitions, including: photography exhibitions in Beijing, Austria, New York, Germany, Indonesia, Singapore, Aramco, Ministry of Education, and Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.


 
Abdullah Shuja

He is a photographer holding Al-Muftaha Prize for the best photographer and the Chairman of the Board of Asir Photography Club.


 
Abdullah al-Edey
He is a photographer since 2007. He is the winner of the largest number of Colors of Saudi Contest Awards in addition to many local and Arab awards. He is a participant in several local and international photography exhibitions, a commercial photographer at many governmental and private agencies, and a collaborator with charities through photography

 
Amani al-Ajlan

She is a social researcher specialized in content creation on social media. She has a BSC in Social Work from Princess Norah University, and an M.A. in Contemporary Society and Culture from Justus-Liebig University, Germany.

He is a Kuwaiti comedy actor who participated in several plays and series.

 
Youssef al-Jarah

He is a Saudi media person and actor. His work includes (Abu Meshaab, Tash ma Tash, Hekayat Qasira, Abu Rowaished Family, Shabaan in Ramadan, Alo Marhaba, Mn al Akher, Talea Nazel, Al Falta 2, Kalam al Nas 2, Al Khattaf, Jari ya Hammouda) in addition to many plays.


 
Hana al-Omair​

She is a Saudi writer, director and film critic. She has an M.A. in Translation from Heriot-Watt University. She is the winner of the Silver Palm Tree Prize for the best scenario in Saudi Film Festival (2008). Her film (Beyond Words) was played in the Gulf Film Festival (2009), and was chosen to compete in the Muscat Film Festival (2010). She worked as a writer in many workshops for drama shows writing. She was a member of the Jury of Saudi Film Festival held by Rotana in 2013.

He is a senior presenter in the Saudi Broadcasting Corporation, and a media and administrative consultant. He studied Arabic Language in King Saud and Imam Mohamed bin Saud Universities and has a BSC in English Language. His interest in radio presenting started in his primary years in Sabt Tanuma Primary School. He started his career in radio presenting in 1401 AH when he was a student in high school..

Mr. Adel al-Quraishi

He graduated from King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals. He started photography in 1991 and specialized in Portrait Photography. In 2013, he photographed the last living Aghawat in the Prophet's Holy Mosque. He has several international participations, including in Word and Illumination Exhibition in Medina, the British Museum, and Leighton House Museum, London, in 2015.

Ahmed Mohamed al-Mullah

He has BSC in Social Studies from the Faculty of Arts, King Saud University, 1982. He is the Director of Dammam Society of Culture and Arts since December 2013. He has many voluntary and collaborative works, including:
Director of the First Poetry House, Mohamed al-Ali Round 2015.
Director of the Saudi Film Festival in its three rounds.
Culture and literary production: he printed 8 poetry collections.


 
Hugo Marcos

He has a degree in Tourism, Heritage and Local Development. He participated in Zagreb Tourfilm Festival (Croatia 2014), Deauville Green Awards (France 2015), Film Art and Tourism Festival (Poland 2015), and represented Art and Tur Festival in international exhibitions.
He has recently become the Executive Director of Uptor Project, Cine Trofa – International Festival of Cinema & Literature - Portugal Tourism Film Festival.


 
Fatima al-Marhon

She is a Radiotherapy Specialist in Aramco Hospital, Dhahran. She graduated from Liverpool University and has a Diploma in Photography from New York Academy. She is a member of FIAP, PSA, UPI, and Qatif Photography Community. She is the first Saudi woman to win the titles of Artist FIAP, and Excellence FIAP. She won many local awards and over 300 international awards, most notably are Best Photographer in the first Saudi Arabia International Photographic Art Exhibition 2015; the Golden Award in Sheikh Saud Al Thani Photography Contest 2015; FIAP Golden Medal 2014; golden, silver and bronze medals in Emirates Photography Competition 2013; Best Author, one golden and two silver medals in AFAN 2017.


 
Mohamed al-Holayil

He is a Saudi filmmaker who participated in many international and local film festivals. His films won several awards, including Best Short Film in Beirut International Film Festival, and Jury Award in Dubai Film Festival.

Abdullah Hassan

He is an Emirati director and producer, and one of the founders of film industry in the UAE. He won several awards and certificates of appreciation in local and international festivals, and Best Young Arab Director in Digital Studio Magazine 2006. He is the director of Faradees Art Production.

He has a BSC in Mass Communication from King Saud University, and he is attending his M.A. in the same university. He worked for a number of newspapers and in the Saudi Television.
Al-Ghanami excelled in interviews with Saudi stars and prominent figures. He also made a number of documentaries and TV investigations into political and social issues.

He is a Kuwaiti photographer and trainer specialized in wildlife photography and humanitarian photography in Africa. He is the winner and juror of many international awards. He holds professional photography workshops annually for wildlife photography in Kenya.


 
Moath al-Ofi

He has a BSC in Environment Management and Sustainable Development from Bond University, Australia. He works on documenting Medina region and the changes it experiences since four years. He is the ambassador of King Abdul-Aziz Cultural Center to the US. He participated in many local exhibitions with contemporary and photography works, such as Doors of Barlik at ATHR Gallery and the Saudi Art Council in Jeddah. He displayed his work in Utah Museum of Contemporary Art in the US, and in the Arab Institute in Paris. He participated with one of his works in the Saudi-Russian Cultural Week in Moscow. He also published many of his photos in Arab and global newspapers and magazines. Moath is the founder of Almthba platform for arts in Medina, the Head of Al-Munawara Arts Initiative, and a member of Erth Team for aerial photography.


 
Mohamed Ali al-Asiri

He is an underwater videographer and photographer since 2004. He participated in a number of local and international contests. He is the Chairman and Founder of AquaView Group, the first official group for underwater photography in Saudi Arabia under the umbrella of the Society for Culture and Arts-Jeddah. He is an underwater documentaries producer. He won one of the Nature prizes in Colors of Saudi Forum 2013.


 
Youssef al-Doubisi

He started his career in the Saudi Press Agency in 1993. In 2003, he worked for the Saudi Research and Marketing Group. He has several participations in sports photography and horse photography (Showjumping – Arabian Horse Beauty Contests). He is the Third Best Sports Photographer in Asia 2005, and World Cup Photographer, Germany, 2006.

Hussein al-Daghriri

He is a Saudi photographer and filmmaker since 2006. He founded HOSAA website for photography, held many projects and exhibitions, and participated in the jury of several photography contests inside and outside Saudi Arabia.


 
Ali al Abdel Latif

He is a photographer since 2006. He is the winner of many awards and titles, including Urban Development category of the Colors of Saudi Contest in its first round, and Safir Contest..


 
Badr al-Hamad

He is a photographer who graduated from King Saud University, Faculty of Mass Communication, Public Relations Section. He is the winner of Best Amateur Sports Photo. He worked for many newspapers, most notably Al Riyadh, Al Arabiya.net, Al Jazeera, Al Hayat, German Press Agency, Saudi Pro League, Al Riyadiya, Asharq Al Awsat, and Al Eqtisadyia.
